Kritické vlastnosti materiálu jsou absorpce vlhkosti a tepelná roztažnost. Kluzná pouzdra s nízkou absorpcí vlhkosti lze montovat s malou vůlí ložiska. Vzhledem k tloušťce stěny platí následující: Čím silnější jsou ložiska, tím větší je požadovaná vůle ložiska.MontážKluzná pouzdra iglidur® jsou nalisovaná pouzdra. Vnitřní průměr je ke správné toleranci přizpůsoben až po zatlačení do montážního otvoru. Nalisovací vůle může být až 2 % z vnitřního průměru. To zajišťuje bezpečné zalisování ložiska. Osa nebo radiální posun v domečku je tedy spolehlivě omezen.
